Download LAME MP3 Encoder for Windows

In order to use VinylStudio's MP3 encoding features, you first need to download the LAME encoder. You can get this from either of the sources listed below. LAME is free, but in some countries you may need to pay a license fee in order to legally encode MP3 files.

If you have previously downloaded a copy of LAME to use with Audacity, please don't use this with VinylStudio - it doesn't work. If in doubt, please download a fresh copy and put it in a different folder. And please download the 32 bit version of LAME, even if you are running a 64 bit version of Windows. The 64 bit version will not work.

If there is a problem with any of these downloads please let us know.
