Hi,
I have just purchased a new NAD PP3 with Vinyl Studio bundle and i'm experiencing the
exact problem described by Hans here:
http://www.alpinesoft.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=65.0The thing is that i showed this post to my NAD dealer and after he contacted NAD, i was told that all devices with serial number prefix above H88 are fixed and mine has a prefix of H96.
Despite the written above, my NAD dealer replaced the unit (to a new one but still with the same serial prefix H96) and the problem still occurs.
I have tried 2 PP3's, 2 PC's and 2 different phono's and still no good

Like in Hans scenario regular playback is fine, only when i try to record/check level i get this continuous high pitched noise, even before i lower the needle to touch the record!
Any clue? I feel that i've already tried everything....

Thanks ahead,
Roy
