This my First Post I'd like to say hello to everyone. My apologies if this topic has been previously posted.
In Vinyl Studio on the first screen there is a box, part way down on the left hand side ,which shows Wait for Needle Down and a Check Box.
As the Stylus touches the record there will be an audible click. In order to avoid this click is it possible to wait until the Stylus is in place and then press to start to record?
I am very interested in converting some of my vinyl records to CD and I am about purchase a Rega Fono Mini A2D pre amp to connect to my turntable and also purchase Vinyl Studio for Mac
Any advice will be most welcome

Sure, just uncheck that box!  Or did I miss something?

In any case, the click is easily eliminated - just move the first green start-of-track marker a little to the right.  Zoom in for better precision, and hold down the Alt / Option key to move the markers as a group.

Many thanks for your reply. I suspected that a click would be recorded when the stylus settled onto the LP etc. I was curious about how to eliminate the click. Vinyl Studio does seem to be superior to other software that is available.
The magazine iCreate Issue 191 Oct 2018 in an article featuring "Convert Vinyl to iTunes" it says that it is the Best app for recording vinyl onto your Mac. Many thanks once again for your reply.

OK, thanks.  I was not aware of that magazine article, thanks for the heads up.
