Location tag

I have used VS since 2014 and for more years than I can tell tracks written to FLAC have carried a LOCATION tag which was the VS Library name. It's very useful but since the last update it appears to be gone. Can I get it back?

Hi,

It's still supported, but VinylStudio only puts it in if you check the 'Include grouping tag' box in the Settings dialog, not sure why.

Is that why there was always both LICATION and GROUPING with the same value?
I am using Lyrion and a recent change means that GROUPING is now used in a specific way so I cleared all my GROUPING tags and switched off "Incluge grouping tag" for future needledrops. I didn't expect LOCATION to disappear as well!?

I'm not sure anymore to be honest, but the reason that box exists is that iTunes on older iPhones misbehaves if you check it.  We'll review it when time permits.

In the meantime, you might like to explore the Custom Tags editor - you can probably set it that way.
