  • please disregard the following, as I determined a way to fix this error.
Buffer over running on second side of recording, ever since applying the last update.  Increased to 30 seconds to no avail.  Is it possible to downgrade? Windows 10 home.

I spoke too soon.  It still is buffer overloading.  What can I do to fix this?

Paul Sanders (AlpineSoft)

Hi,

Are you running anti-virus?  If so, please try turning this off.

Also, what buffer size did you set in the Recording Options dialog please?

Zeram1

Hi, no active antivirus.
Increased buffer to 20s and then to 60s, all to no avail.

I actually fixed it, and now all is fine.

Regards

What did you do to fix it????

I can record first side just fine - second side is all hashed up.

Paul Sanders (AlpineSoft)

Don't know if Zeram can help (great if he can) but if you could expand on 'all hashed up', we can try.  There shouldn't be any difference between recording side 1 and recording side 2, so that's a bit mysterious.

Details of platform (e.g. Windows 10 / Windows 11 / some flavour of macOS) would be useful, as would knowing what kind of recording device you have (e.g. USB turntable, model X).  Essentially, the more info we have, the better placed we are to assist.  Thx.
