Cut and splice not working properly after upgrade to Monterey 12.2.1

Since upgrading to Mac OS Monterey 12.2.1, the cut and splice function does not work properly. It shows the cut on the waveform as expected, but does not cut and splice the underlying audio file. Using Vinyl Studio Pro 12.5.2, which is current version.

This is actually a VinylStudio bug, but is resolved in the latest Beta.  You can get that here:
