Occasional HANG

Out of ~ 100 albums recorded, I've had maybe 4 or 5 hangs, where Vinyl Studio stops : the recording level bars freeze, can't close program. Usually happens after I have been recording for several hours (for the record, CPU temp is ~ 25C)

Use Task Manager to close main program, but then there is another instance of Vinyl Studio (32 bit) that I can NOT close - need to reboot computer to get it done. Note that when VS is working properly, there is NO 2nd instance shown in Task Manager

An occasional hang is OK, but I should be able to completely shut it down from Task Manager

Hi,

Please try unchecking 'Use WASAPI for Recording' in VinylStudio's Check Level dialog.  That usually fixes this.  You can reach this dialog from the Record window.

You might also need to uncheck 'Use WASAPI for Playback' in the Change Playback Device dialog and you may also need to restart your PC.
