Playing speed extremely fast

After importing a sound file in mp3 format, the playing speed is extremely fast. The playing speed have I set to Normal Speed. When I play the mp3 file in Windows Media Player the playing speed is normal. Any suggestion?
VinylStudio version: V14.0.3, VinylStudio Premium.

Please try selecting 'MME / Wave' in the Host dropdown in VinylStudio's Check Level dialog.  That usually resolves this (it's a Windows thing).
