I don't understand the difference between the "Save corrected audio" and the "Preserve corrections" options when saving my WAV recordings to MP3 format.

Hi,

Yes, it's a bit subtle.

'Save corrected audio' applies any corrections (click repairs, use of the graphic equaliser etc) to the saved file.  This is permanent - you cannot undo anything without saving the file again. This is mainly useful when you want to archive your work.

'Preserve corrections' carries these over without applying them to the saved file.  The saved file is an exact copy of the original, with no corrections applied, but the corrections are still available within VinylStudio.  This is mainly useful when you want to convert to a different format and then carry on working on the file.

Does that make sense?
