Last post by Steve Crook - March 30, 2024, 01:20:57 PMThe title pretty much says it all I think. Generally, I work at a specific horizontal zoom level when I'm doing manual repairs. It's really disorienting (for me at least) to do a repair and have the zoom level change.
I did look to see if this could be turned off but couldn't find anything...

Just recorded an Lp. and even though side one has full waveform drawn, at aprox. 15 min. when playing, the program freezes and stops all audio.
Side two shows all blank, as if it wasn't evene recorded. Obviously all attemps to start playing after the fist 15 min, do nothing.

I can't attest to whether my inability to save has been fixed, because the timeline issue (which I think was resolved in 14.0.3) is back. That's where the wave form in the timeline, does not match what I'm actually hearing from the timeline (same issue as previously reported). I'll email the screen cap

Technical Support / Pasting Track Titles
Last post by Frank Schabel - March 29, 2024, 12:51:42 AMThis is a trivial problem but annoying. When I an entering track titles I am often copying and pasting then from Discogs or some other source
When I paste the title sometimes it will appear at the start of the entry line and sometimes in the middle of the line, not necessarily centered, but at least several spaces over to the right from the first space. No matter how far over a single backspace moves it to the start of the line.
I can't figure out what causes the two different behaviors. It is not copying a space ahead of the first letter in the title; that I checked.

You can check via the About box (VinylStudio -> Menu -> Help -> About VinylStudio).
According to our records, you have VinylStudio for Windows, but you will indeed have access to some Pro features because you purchased prior to 2018 (which is when VinylStudio Pro came into existence).

General Discussion / what version do I have
Last post by Frank Schabel - March 26, 2024, 06:01:04 PMI purchased VinylStudio in2016 before the Pro version was introduced. Today, after not using the program in a while, I downloaded and installed the new version 14.0.3 and had some of the problems described in the forum. I checking on this I discovered that I have Vinystudios for Windows, not the Pro version, but I seem to have all the features of the Pro version. Have I been grandfathered in and if so where is this information stored?
