Hi,

Today I just updated to V9.0.7 and started to record (am running under Windows 10 Version 1803 OS Build 17134.165) and after some minutes I get:

Error 21 writing to file:

D:\Recordings\Reel\vsfiles\NCR_Century~NCR_Century_Release~side1.wav.wft

(The device is not ready)

I tried writing to an MP3 instead - it ran a bit longer, and then "Error 21" again.

I then used Audacity to record the file, and it ran OK.

I have previously recorded a lot with earlier versions of VinylStudio (from my old Telefunken tape recorder) - perhaps it has something to do with the latest update (applied just before my latest attempt at recording).

Hi,

I don't believe this is anything to do with the update, no. The changes we made were very minor. I sounds more to me like a hard disk problem. Are you recording to an external drive by any chance?

No worries, make sure it's connected to your computer properly.
