Been using Vinylsoft successfully for a few weeks now. A problem I've noticed before was particularly bad today. I set the record level as usual just avoiding clipping. I recorded the 1st side of the album OK but when I started side 2 the 1st track was almost clipping continuously, yet no louder than any other tracks. I paused the recording and went to check level and surprise, surprise - no clipping. Any solution?

I would just set the record level a little more conservatively. It's definitely better to err on the low side.
