Title: Can you restart a recording after selecting stop?
Post by: burnfield on February 05, 2013, 07:16:32 PM
Hi,
I accidentally hit "stop" instead of pause and I do not see an obvious way to restart the recording "where I left off (by mistake)". Is this possible or if I want a single file do I just have to start again - its a set of 4 tapes and I had just finished the second one when I did this.
If there is no way to restart this might be a useful feature in the next release or perhaps simpler a confimation window "Do you really mean stop?"

Hi just record the next tape(s) as side 2.  VinylStudio will concatenate the recordings when you come to split your tracks.  The only downside is that you have to apply audio cleanup to each 'album side' individually, but that doesn't normally take long.

Extended existing audio files is awkward.  It's only possible with certain file types.  There are also file size limitations on WAV and AIFF files.
