Title: Double album to 2 cds
Post by: balloon_tom on February 03, 2011, 04:16:45 AM
I'm brand new to VS so please bear with me with this simple stuff.  I've already moved a couple of albums to cd with pretty good results.  I now want to copy a double album.  It will be larger than 1 CD can hold.
Can I (or is it better to):
1)  digitize all 4 sides as 1 side and then split the cd burn
or
2) do I need to digitize all 4 sides indivudually and then burn 2 sides to each CD.

Thanks,
Tom

Hi,

I would record all 4 sides as one album and then burn 2 separate CD's.  The CD Burning window will let you drag individual tracks across.  You could also record sides 1 and 2 as one album and sides 3 and 4 as another, which would preserve the identities of the two discs.  Either way will work.
