Title: win ver crashes during recording
Post by: Zeram1 on October 25, 2020, 11:59:22 PM
After upgrading to Windows v 11.5.0, vinylstudio crashes during recording. No option to send error to your company.  Upon restarting the app, the following window appears:

Unrecognised or unsupported RIFF / AIFF chunk in file:

C:\Users\S\Documents\Recordings\My Albums\xxxxxxxxxxxx~side1.wav (x's typed in to replace filename)

You can remove this file via the list of recordings in the Cleanup Audio window or select Check for Changes from the Album menu at any time.

If I try to record a new side to the one that crashed, it sometimes states that it's recorded at a different sampling rate so the current attempt cannot be performed.

Crashes about every other attempt.
Windows 10 pro

We have just issued a release to fix this (V11.5.1).  You can get it here:

https://www.alpinesoft.co.uk/VinylStudio/download_win.aspx

Sorry about the hassle.

Thanks. So far so good.

Sorry for the typo in the subject line.

No worries, corrected (I missed it too).
