Title: VS Screen Size w/ Remote Desktop
Post by: Indy33 on May 08, 2026, 05:16:48 PM
I'm using remote desktop to the VS computer. The VS window is too tall such that I cannot see everything. I can adjust the width, but NOT the height. I get the resize arrow, but it will only go taller, not smaller.

I previously had Windows scale and text size set to 125% on both computers, but have reset them to 100%. This did not help.

Any ideas?

CORRECTION TO ABOVE POST:
My primary monitor scaling was actually set to 150%, not 125%.

I finally figured out my problem, it was my dual monitors. I was only resetting scale and text size on my secondary monitor.

When I set scaling from 150% to 125%, then I can see everything. But I cannot adjust the windows size smaller for VS.

Could that be fixed, my vision is 20/200 and I need the larger size.

Hi,

The problem is that the minimum height of the Record window determines the minimum height of the app.  You might, however, have some success by changing the font or font size that VinylStudio uses.  You can do this via Menu -> Options -> Change Font and Background.

Thanks Paul, I will give that a try.

Ok, hope it helps.

You probably already know this, but there is a free tool out there called Zoomit which you might find useful.  And some others, no doubt.
