A partial setup (different computer) has worked before with the Korg AudioGate AG software for recording and processing with VS. I moved VS and AG to another computer (Installed ASIO) and added my Yamaha CR-600 to the mix along with a SPL Phonitor XE headphone amplifier. I'm using remote desktop to run the new VS computer. See diagram below.
I can play previously recorded music both with VS and AG, and now I want to record with VS.
I want to start ripping vinyl records again but now I can't seem to get any sound or record from the turntable.
My configuration at this time is shown below in the two graphics.
Any deias would be greatly appreciated !!!

Hi,
Does the Korg appear as an ASIO input device in VinylStudio's Check Level dialog? That works for me with a similar setup.
ASIO was not selected, but after selecting nothing changed. Record player was spinning, but nothing on the VU meters.
I can playback previous recorded music and listen thru the Korg with headphones. Seems the signal gets to the Korg (first in signal path), but not to the computer next.
I have restarted the computer, unplugged the USB cable to the computer to restart the Korg. Nothing has changed.

Website says there was a post while I was typing, but I cannot post more info.

While playing a record, if I turn the Korg to full volume I hear a very low volume music.

OK, I'll look into that. It's a long time since I last tested it.
Hello again,
I looked into this and our code that used to work no longer does. We haven't changed anything so it looks like either (a) Korg have changed their driver, or (perhaps more likely) (b) it no longer works properly under Windows 11.
I will get in touch with them to see if they're prepared to help out. If so, we will fix VinylStudio and issue an update.
Update:
I uninstalled the Korg driver installed on my machine and reinstalled it from here:
https://www.korg.com/us/support/download/software/0/529/2583/
Then it started working. You can tell because you can hear a relay switching over inside the Korg when you click on the radio buttons (and the setting 'sticks').
Tested on Windows 11 25H2.
That didn't work for me.
Thinking that I will just do a reinstall of Windows 10 and see what happens. The original computer was on Win10 and I moved it to another Win10 computer ..... should work don't you think?
.
I really couldn't say, but that sounds like a sensible course of action.
The reinstall did not help.
I have not been able to update any win10 machines for a long time. Yesterday I figured out the problem, so now all my computers are updated. Wish I would have tried the Korg before MS updates. The first computer did not have updates, but the second one did.
I wonder could that be the problem, but im sure yours was up to date .....uhm.
Have you any experience with the Korg MR-1000 or MR-2000???
.
Sorry for the delayed response, just seen your post.
I actually tested under Windows 11 and my system is, AFAIK, up to date. But the original code was developed a long time ago, probably under Windows 10 or maybe even Windows 7, using information provided by Korg themselves. I just tested again here and it's working as it should.
I have an old laptop running Windows 10. When it finally finishes updating, I will test with that and report back.
OK, I tested with various versions of Win 10 and everything worked fine. My system is 32 bit FWIW, but (perforce) my Win 11 machine is not.
One thing though. I only installed the 2ch 1bit audio driver. Specifically, I did not install the KorgExASIODriver. If you did, maybe that is interfering. I've no idea what it does.
I have no experience of the other Korg devices you mention, by the way.
