Title: Scan for Track Breaks does not stop creating breaks
Post by: Chris115v on June 27, 2025, 04:09:17 AM
Sometimes when i'm scanning for track breaks when there are none existing, it goes off the rails and starts creating an infinite (?) number of tracks next to each other. Screen recording below. I missed the point where it went off the rails. Also not sure what i do to stop it.

Hi,

Are you not able to find these albums on Discogs?

If not, you can try some combination of increasing the minimum track length, increasing the minimum gap length and increasing the threshold start level.

I use the scanner when Discogs does not have track times - so I have the list of track names but no breaks.

I'll try adjusting the params if it happens again. I have them adjusted to where they get as close to where I want them, but they are not too far off from the defaults.

What about some code to attempt to stop this runaway situation from happening?
