OK, we'll look into that (seems odd, I can't think of a reason)

i can finally save all tracks with the new 14.0.5 Beta 1 version, thanks for all the hard work.

i did notice though, that after saving the tracks the filters get cleared/reset now, this was certainly not the behavior in previous versions, hope it was just an oversight and not the new default.

General Discussion / 14.0.4 In general
Last post by Steve Crook - March 30, 2024, 01:29:28 PM
I must say, apart from the headline changes, you guys have been very busy with small tweaks to behaviour and look and feel, it's a nice spring clean. It took a while before it dawned on me that manual repairs now have a very slightly different colour to automatic for example. Or at least I think that's new :) there's a point at which past and present begin to blur... It's an age thing.

I'm still playing around with Multiclick (once I'd worked out where it was :)) to get an idea of how best to use it, it's already been very handy in silencing short patches of background mush and I expect to revisit some of my more troublesome recordings to see if I can tame them a little.

Congrats on the release.

Technical Support / VS 14.04 (prem) manual click r...

The title pretty much says it all I think. Generally, I work at a specific horizontal zoom level when I'm doing manual repairs. It's really disorienting (for me at least) to do a repair and have the zoom level change.

I did look to see if this could be turned off but couldn't find anything...

Fixed, 30th March 2024.   We've released it as a Beta:

Yes. just as Sidnancee says, the issues are back. just like version 14.0.

Just recorded an Lp. and even though side one has full waveform drawn, at aprox. 15 min. when playing, the program freezes and stops all audio.

Side two shows all blank, as if it wasn't evene recorded. Obviously all attemps to start playing after the fist 15 min, do nothing.

Hello - I just downloaded and installed 14.0.4. I can't attest to whether my inability to save has been fixed, because the timeline issue (which I think was resolved in 14.0.3) is back. That's where the wave form in the timeline, does not match what I'm actually hearing from the timeline (same issue as previously reported). I'll email the screen cap

Technical Support / Re: Pasting Track Titles

Sounds like there might be tab characters in what you are pasting in.  Perhaps be more precise with what you select from the screen before copying.

If you're still struggling, some screenshots taking me through your workflow would help.  Yo can sed them to:

Thanks.

Technical Support / Pasting Track Titles
Last post by Frank Schabel - March 29, 2024, 12:51:42 AM
This is a trivial problem but annoying. When I an entering track titles I am often copying and pasting then from Discogs or some other source

When I paste the title sometimes it will appear at the start of the entry line and sometimes in the middle of the line, not necessarily centered, but at least several spaces over to the right from the first space. No matter how far over a single backspace moves it to the start of the line.

I can't figure out what causes the two different behaviors. It is not copying a space ahead of the first letter in the title; that I checked.
