Title: Set Default Initial Size Of Manual Repairs?
Post by: Steve Crook on September 15, 2021, 09:13:55 PM
For the work I've been doing recently, the default size of ~0.00111 sec or 214 samples @ 192khz is too large and I often end up having to go back to trim the sides of a repair to get it to better match a curve so I just trim off an inconvenient spike and not flatten the whole curve.

I don't see anything that'd let me change the initial size of a manual repair.

If it's not already there, it would be a nice to have (for me)

Hi,

No, it's not there and I'm not sure I see any great utility in it.  It's unlikely that a newly inserted repair is going to be exactly right for any particular click, no matter how accurately you try to set the default width, so some adjustment will always be necessary (or at least, desirable).  Also, if you don't manage to insert it in quite the right place, you will have to / want to drag one or both of the edges to neaten things up.

I'd rather not add too many configuration options so I'm going to say no to this one, sorry.
