Title: RECORD NEW ALBUM DISCOGS look up sometimes incorrect
Post by: mrmike_49@yahoo.com on April 18, 2021, 06:29:07 AM
Getting set to record a new album Grateful Dead The Best Of The Grateful Dead: Skeletons From The Closet
On the album, I see the number W2764 so I plug that into the Discogs to lookup the album info before starting to record (NOT the Track listing info) and the program returns some weird classical album

Verified that W2764 is correct : https://www.discogs.com/The-Grateful-Dead-The-Best-Of-The-Grateful-Dead-Skeletons-From-The-Closet/release/4813937

I've had similar issues an estimated 5 to 10% of the time. Is this a Discogs issue or a Vinyl Studio issue?

UPDATE : a little investigating I am getting this album https://www.discogs.com/search/?q=dw2764&type=all when I type in W2764 OR when I type in DW2764

Don't worry, like I say, we will fix it (by displaying all matching albums and allowing you to select the one you want).

Hi,

When will this new version be available?

I've been holding off on making any recordings because of this.

Thanks.
