Title: Can't save tracks - it freezes. Macbook M1 Max
Post by: dab on April 25, 2026, 07:50:07 AM
Hi, once i switched to 96khz/24 for the records i am not able to export separate tracks - the program completely freezes once I click on the menu item. The only feature used before exporting - normalization. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
I am on Macbook M1

Hi,

Can you send me a diagnostic report that the Mac generates when a program freezes please?  To do this:

1.  Get VinylStudio into its frozen state.

2.  From the Finder menu, select Go -> Utilities.

3.  Launch Activity Monitor.

4.  When this opens, select VinylStudio in the list of running processes.

5.  Click on the 'gear wheel' icon in the Activity Monitor toolbar and select 'Sample Process'..

6.  When sampling completes, save the sample to a file and email me that file:

I will then take a look and get back to you.  Thanks.
