Title: Viewing Discogs track list while recording and splitting
Post by: wallewek on March 15, 2026, 06:00:53 PM
Pardon if this has been answered previously.

When I lookup an album on Discogs, the popup help seems to imply that I can keep that list when recording and splitting that album.  That list is sometimes helpful when splitting, but it doesn't appear to be possible to keep the list open when recording.  Am I missing something, or is that just how it is?

Thanks!

Hi,

I find this question a little confusing, but you must close the popup before you can record, if that's what you're asking.

Right, yes. And there is no way to close that popup, but keep its associated track list visible while splitting?

I'm asking because the auto-scan for track breaks (which works wonderfully, BTW) sometimes has trouble on "iffy" albums, and it would be nice to keep the "official" reference handy for comparison.

Oh, well, I'll live.  Thanks!

Sorry, no, but if you use Undo, you can see the track splits before the adjustment was applied.  You can then use Redo to reapply them.
