Title: Batch Conversion leaves old.crd file behind
Post by: Andy Morris on October 24, 2025, 04:12:23 PM
When I convert files in the collection folder, VinylStudio deletes the old file after creating the new file but leaves the old .crd file.

So I end up with:

Volume in drive C is Windows
 Volume Serial Number is C4E0-B6A5

 Directory of C:\Users\AndyJ\VinylStudio\MyCollection

24/10/2025  16:05       205,797,642 Charlie_Parker~Bird_Lives-_The_Complete_Dial_Masters~side1.mp3
24/10/2025  16:05           277,404 Charlie_Parker~Bird_Lives-_The_Complete_Dial_Masters~side1.mp3.crd
24/10/2025  15:54           277,404 Charlie_Parker~Bird_Lives-_The_Complete_Dial_Masters~side1.wav.crd
               3 File(s)    206,352,450 bytes
               0 Dir(s)  1,026,004,078,592 bytes free

The .crd files have the same contents:

Comparing files Charlie_Parker~Bird_Lives-_The_Complete_Dial_Masters~side1.mp3.crd and CHARLIE_PARKER~BIRD_LIVES-_THE_COMPLETE_DIAL_MASTERS~SIDE1.WAV.CRD
FC: no differences encountered

OK, thanks, we'll take a look.  You can safely delete the .wav.crd file
