Title: How to see Normalization factor for each album side ?
Post by: bshonbeck on October 08, 2025, 02:47:38 PM
I applied normalization to a double album set and had it configured to do each side separately.  Everything seems to have work well in that regard and the completion popup showed the four normalization factors that were applied.  However, later I wanted to see these factors.  When I open the Filter Settings popup, it shows what appears to be the Normalization factor for the first side but I don't see a way to get the factor for the other three sides.  What am I missing?

Hi,

Sorry for the delay - I missed this.

I think you're talking about the position of the Preamp sliders, and to see these for (say) side 2, just select side 2 from the dropdown in the Cleanup Audio window.

Ahhh, it is obvious once you point it out.  I guess I was expecting to find a summary of the preamp factors applied to each side, much like the popup that is shown when the normalization process completes.  But having it available in some form is very helpful.
