Title: Creating An Album
Post by: BigB on July 17, 2025, 12:40:47 AM
Hello.
I was trying to "Add a new Album to your collection" (Traveling Wilburys 1998) but it came up without a listing . I tried the suggestions from the window but still no good. I have digitised other Albums with various artists/Groups without a problem. I have tried Discogs and Music Brainz from the window,i am using VinylStudio Pro.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards
BigB

Hi,

If there are no track times in the databases then you will need to insert track breaks manually.  There's a video about this on our tutorials page:

Alternatively, you can type in the track durations in the Edit Track Details dialog.  Then fine tune the markers by hand.

Hello.
I might have asked the wrong question.
In the "Add a new Album to Your Collection" window it doesn't recognise the Album.(Traveling Wilburys1998)"No matching Albums found" I have Entered Album artist which there are many,Album Title etc but with no luck. I have tried other Albums with groups and
get the same answer.I digitised an Album. Marylebone Beat Girls which has a lot groups on it and didn't have a problem.

Hi,

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying.  What exactly did you search for please?  The Discogs database has excellent coverage and your albums are probably in there somewhere.
