Hello,
Great software! I've been enjoying doing rips of my vinyl collection. I'd like to request a feature to speed up my workflow.
In the lookup dialog box, i'd like to see the Discogs release id in the Matching albums window. I already have the LP in my collection database on
Discogs and have a browser tab open to the LP.
So we'd go from this:

to this: (just a mock up - that release is much further down the list)

where:

This would save me TONS of time.
thanks for your consideration,
Ron
Thanks for the suggestion. Why would this be useful please?

Thanks for the quick reply!
I already know the id number of the pressing I'm recording. I can skip past the CD/Cassette versions which may have a different/altered track listing.
I also like to buy imports (usually from Japan) which can also have different track listings/lengths. So I can match it up quickly.
Otherwise, I have to check 1 by one until I see the correct track listing/album art I'm seeing from Discogs website.
[note: its possible I'm doing this wrong :D
wouldn't be the first time. Won't be the last! ]
tl;dr not all track listings for the same artist/album title are the same :)
ex: https://www.discogs.com/David-Bowie-Never-Let-Me-Down/release/2754607
Track A6 Girls* (Japanese Version)
The Japanese LP has a different listing from the master release listing:

[sorry for the re-edits]
Hi,
If you know the discogs ID, you can search for it directly by entering it in the artist field, precedewd by '+' (without the quotes). Leave the title field blank.
Does that give you what you want?
I must be doing something wrong. Thanks for your patience..
It didn't work for either the Lenny Kravitz or David Bowie release IDs

This is with the Discogs database selected on the same dialog box.
Sorry, search for +r715454 (note the r)
Perfect!
Thanks!
I have also discovered I can use
[r1234567890] in this dialog box and the Import Sound File dialog box as well

Sublime!
